This was in case you were not able to return home because of travel restrictions or self-isolation related to coronavirus. However, as per the latest updates on 30th July, it no longer holds good. Since travel restrictions are now being lifted globally, you are expected to make arrangements to return to your home country or apply to regularize your stay in the UK.
